At TFD, our Professional Customer Services Team (CST) is your first point of contact. Our aim is to make decision making as informed, accurate and easy as possible. We work with Customers, providing regular information in user-friendly formats.

Most importantly, we use this knowledge to achieve optimal, cost effective logistics solutions.

We activate efficiencies, and build strong alliances and partnerships with our Customers and the trade. Through our CST of ‘Customer Management Fanatics’, our specialised service focuses on keeping each Customer in control and the provision of innovative cost solutions.

Continuous Business Management

A dedicated Customer Services Manager liaises regularly (at least quarterly) with the Customer to review business and cost drivers, as well as to agree on joint objectives and actions needed to achieve any required improvements.

TFD prioritises the following cost improvement and management drivers:

Sales growth
Returns –good stock and damaged returns
Pricing and claims analysis
Service levels to the trade
Service level from factory to TFD
Lost sales
Stock levels / excess pallets
Forecasting and replenishment

Customised reporting is a key performance indicator for the TFD team, with our internal requirement being the delivery of the most effective reporting through the use of Knowledge Apps, a leading Business Intelligence (BI) tool.

Strategic reviews are scheduled bi-annually, whereby updates on future activities for both parties are outlined with specific joint objectives agreed.
